Sidharth Sriram (born 19 May 1990) is an Indian Carnatic musician who is an Indian music producer, playback vocalist, and songwriter. He is also an R&B music producer[2and has worked for his native Tamil as well as Telugu music industry as well as working in Kannada as well as Malayalam films. He frequently collaborates alongside his sibling Pallavi Sriram, who is a Bharatanatyam dancer, as well as music directors.

Sid Sriram was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to a Tamil family. His parents moved to California when he was just a year old. He was raised in Fremont. The musical talents of his son were fostered through his mom, Latha Sriram, a Carnatic music instructor in California's San Francisco Bay Area. 5 He began learning Carnatic music when he was 3 years old.

He was also able to start picking up R&B. After graduation from Mission San Jose High School in 2008, he entered the Berklee College of Music and obtained a degree in music production as well as engineering. After the time of his graduation, he's been traveling regularly to India and has performed Carnatic concerts, in the December Music season , Marghazhi Utsavam. Since then, he's moved again to India and now lives in the Mylapore region in Chennai.

Career in singing

He has also been featured in a few Malayalam songs such as Uyire of Gauthamante Radham and also in a couple of Telugu songs such as Kola Kale Ila, from Varudu Kavalenu. The singer also performed two tracks from the Hindi movie Jhund.

Then, in addition to that, made his mark music composer. He composed for the ace director Mani Ratnam's film, Vaanam Kottatum. The film is directed by the former assistant to Mani director for Padaiveeran, Dhana Sekharan. The composer's Srivalli track was a part of Pushpa: The Rise was highly acclaimed.
